Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Perimeter Patrol Driver at Research Triangle Park, NC. You will provide security services for a commercial real estate site, focusing on customer service and visible presence to deter incidents.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while adhering to site policies and safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site policies.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of interiors, parking areas, and perimeters; report security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies calmly and follow established protocols.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to supervisors.
