Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Perimeter Patrol Driver in Research Triangle Park, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients across Commercial Real Estate, providing a visible security presence and assisting tenants and visitors.

As a part-time role, you can build a flexible schedule and use our Claim a Shift platform. You will perform unarmed patrols, report incidents, and maintain calm, professional responses to emergencies.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and property perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
