Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Perimeter Assessment) for Research Triangle Park, NC. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required by policy, with age and education requirements specified for unarmed roles. The role offers Daytime and Night shifts with pay of $17.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required by Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional communication.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, exteriors, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Report security concerns and equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
