Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time patrol driver incident response role in Sterling Heights, MI. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while delivering customer service and timely reporting.

The position offers daytime shifts with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Requirements include at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
