Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Moline, IL. This role involves driving patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering strong customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing site.

Pay rate is $19.25 per hour with day and night shifts. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; experience with access control is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
