Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol at a site in Lockport, IL. The role combines security patrols with driving responsibilities to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a DayTime schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
