Job summary

Allied Universal in Normal, IL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Driving Operations. You will serve clients across automotive manufacturing and related facilities, performing driving and foot patrols while maintaining a strong, visible security presence and top-notch customer service.

The role offers flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform. Prior driving, access control and badge experience are valued; and a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as per laws; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of automotive manufacturing, parking, shipping, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.
