Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Driver Patrol Customer Assistance in San Jose, CA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and aid in access control at a busy retail/mall location.

This position offers a part-time schedule with shift-based hours and a focus on safety and customer care. Responsibilities include responding to incidents calmly, reporting hazards, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, parking facilities, corridors, exterior areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or hazards to site contacts.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and lost-and-found inquiries.
