Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Driver Patrol Readiness) in San Jose, CA. You will perform on-site patrols, customer service, and access control while maintaining safety across market areas and vendor spaces.

The role requires a valid CA driver’s license; CPR/First Aid and Guard Card are preferred. Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts; pay rate is $26.48 per hour. Allied Universal offers growth and perks through a flexible shift platform.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to vendors, visitors, and guests following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across market areas, vendor spaces, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events calmly and using reporting procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity; direct visitors and communicate site rules as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to vendors, visitors, and guests by following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to identify security concerns and report them.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner per escalation procedures.
• Monitor entrances and vehicle activity and direct visitors as needed.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports for leadership.
