Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Field Coverage to safeguard clients across retail locations. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and support customer service while following site procedures.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule (Sat 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Sun 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) with a pay rate of $28.00 per hour and room for growth within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, access concerns, and hazards to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Document observations and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
