Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a campus/site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, helping you earn more while building experience.

Pay rate is $21.15 per hour, with a daytime schedule. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, and detailed logging.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to campus community and visitors according to site procedures.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service and incidents.
• Maintain logs and incident documentation of dispatch activity and communications.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with officers and campus stakeholders.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access systems and escalate concerns as needed.
