Job summary

Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Entry Authorization to support access control and incident response. You will verify credentials, monitor access to sensitive areas, and respond to incidents following site protocols.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access activity, incidents, and policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
