Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Entry Authorization in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on access control at chemical/petrochemical locations, requiring a valid driver’s license and strong customer service.

You will work a set afternoon schedule, provide security procedures, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining clear communication with site personnel and leadership.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner following site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access activity, incidents, and policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
