Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per AU Driver Policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Greet drivers and visitors and verify credentials at gatehouse.
• Monitor gate activity, issue temporary badges, and log visitors and vendors.
• Maintain a visible security presence and conduct routine patrols.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and notify site leadership or authorities as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and document daily activities.
