Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with Driver Credential Operations in Falls Church, VA. You will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor areas, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and guests.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties and you will follow our driver policy. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with driving responsibilities and opportunities for growth in a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen in compliance with law.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by adhering to security procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, direct guests.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify school personnel or responders as required.
• Deter unauthorized access by observing activity and reporting concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter.
