Washoe County School District is seeking a Nutrition Services Worker I at Allen Elementary School. The role supports breakfast and lunch service, assists with food preparation, and may work at a central kitchen or school site. Expect to perform data input at POS and supervise student helpers as needed.

Work involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and following WCSD nutrition policies. Training will cover safety and sanitation procedures, with opportunities to train new NS

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of preparing and serving food or similar experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math and safe food handling knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and serving meals at breakfast, lunch, and a la carte menus.
• Operate cash registers or POS units; assist with sales reconciliation.
