The school nurse will implement the school health program, manage student health records, administer medications, and coordinate care with families and health professionals. This role supports student well-being in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN or RN license.
• RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student health records and immunization status.
• Administer medications with parental permission and physician orders.
• Train staff on medication administration during nurse's absence or field trips.
• Maintain clinic supplies and securely store medications.
• Respond to health concerns with appropriate first aid and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate with health department and school staff on health procedures.
