Job summary

Dundee Elementary in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a part-time Backup Manager to support nutrition services. Work 5.5 hours per day, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., August through May when school is in session; flexibility to cover 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

as needed. Starting immediately with a starting wage of $18.75 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep and service, equipment sanitation, stock rotation, dishwashing, and supervising staff in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform arithmetic using money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, service, and storage of food.
• Assist with required reports and daily tasks.
• Lead staff in the manager's absence and ensure customer service excellence.
