Job summary

Columbian Elementary in Omaha, NE is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for part-time hours from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year, starting immediately.

The role supports Nutrition Services by preparing and serving meals to students and staff and maintaining cleanliness. You will work under the Executive Director of Nutrition Services, enjoy a bi-weekly pay schedule at $18 per hour, and receive an annual uniform allowance plus a complimentary shift meal.

Qualifications

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.

3.0 scheduled hours per day; 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Work August through May when students are in session.

Reports To: Executive Director, Nutrition Services

Position Purpose: Primary responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and serving of quality meals to students and staff, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, rotating food stock and supplies, and providing superior customer service.
