Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience to perform duties.
• Experience in commercial custodial or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate physical exertion and some heavy lifting outdoors.
• Background clearance through FBI and ABI required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly and on time.
• Maintain school facilities and perform routine cleaning.
• Sweep, mop, empty trash, clean restrooms, strip/wax/buff floors.
• Conduct maintenance and make repairs as needed including changing light fixtures.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Department on items requiring work.
• Order and maintain supplies.
• Assist with moving furniture and other items.
• Respond to alarms as required.
• Lock and secure buildings daily.
