Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, partitions, countertops and mirrors.
• Mix water and detergents or acids according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish and polish floors.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and powered equipment to prevent damage.
• Cleans areas where people have been ill and handles biohazard material for disposal.
• Performs other related duties to ensure safe and sanitary building conditions.
