Job summary

Glade Run Lutheran Services is seeking a part-time School Based Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy within the Slippery Rock Area School District in Slippery Rock, PA. The role collaborates with school staff and a clinical team to deliver student-centered treatment.

The position requires a graduate degree in a clinical field with practicum; licensure is preferred. A flexible schedule aligns with Monday–Friday school hours, with a minimum of 6 billable hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a clinically recognized discipline with a clinical practicum, or an equivalent foreign degree.
• Professional license preferred; a license in a recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health experience satisfies the requirement.
• Licensed Social Worker – LSW does not meet the professional license requirement.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, including psycho-social assessment, initial treatment plan, and required consents for school-based clients.
• Develop measurable treatment goals with clients and guardians.
• Complete treatment reviews per outpatient regulations.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as indicated.
• Maintain timely clinical progress notes referencing the treatment plan.
• Consult with the psychiatrist and school-based supervisor for effective collaboration.
• Participate in supervision activities as scheduled.
• Communicate and collaborate with school district personnel as needed.
• Attend in-service and professional development activities.
• Meet agency productivity requirements.
• Enter clinical documentation in the EMR per program guidelines.
