Job summary

Pittsburgh, PA-based Glade Run Lutheran Services is seeking licensed mental health therapists (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our school-based program. The role focuses on intake, treatment planning, therapy, and collaboration with schools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a counseling related field with clinical practicum.
• Professional license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required; credentialing preferred.
• Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for clients and to perform essential job functions.
• Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with agency personnel and community agencies.
• Ability to accept supervision.
• Ability to adjust hours to job requirements.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to protect the confidentiality of the clients.
• Eligible for PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes for assigned school-based clients, including psycho-social assessment, initial treatment plan, and required consents.
• Develop measurable treatment plan goals in collaboration with clients and families.
• Complete treatment reviews in accordance with outpatient regulations.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy as indicated in the treatment plan.
• Complete clinical progress notes in a timely manner with references to the treatment plan.
• Consult with designated psychiatrist and school-based supervisor regularly for effective collaboration.
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision activities as scheduled.
• Communicate and collaborate with designated school district personnel as indicated.
• Attend in-service and professional development activities as scheduled.
• Must meet agency productivity requirements.
• Enter clinical documentation in the EMR in a timely manner per program guidelines.
