Job summary

The Container Store in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time Sales Leader to lead the sales floor during assigned shifts, connect with customers, and coach the team to achieve daily sales and conversion goals.

You will set daily objectives, analyze KPIs, support training, and maintain brand standards while delivering a high-quality customer experience. Flexible evenings and weekends required; pay is hourly and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail sales or related experience.
• Commitment to role model and lead a successful sales environment.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience with selling and leading a sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Set clear daily performance objectives, plan and execute daily huddles with the team, and lead the sales floor during assigned shifts.
• Drive sales results and conversion by analyzing the business during shifts to determine KPI focus; role model, coach, and provide feedback.
• Meet or exceed expectations for selling behaviors and KPI targets.
• Participate in store communications and use Outlook for updates.
• Support training, coaching and development of part-time team.
• Provide recognition to reinforce positive behaviors and results.
• Utilize company programs and tools to support training and development.
• Lead salesfloor during shifts with certification in Salesfloor Leadership program.
• Support BOPIS activity and daily space goals.
• Maintain brand presentation and adhere to SOPs.
• Assist in loss prevention and shrink reduction.
• Model Foundation Principles and Core Competencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
