Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a specialty business located in Clawson, Michigan.

This temporary, onsite position lasts approximately 3-4 weeks and offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Sage Accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a small-team environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Sage Accounting experience is required.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week, 3-4 days per week, onsite in Clawson, MI.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities during a temporary leave.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions using Sage Accounting.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Review financial records for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and records.
• Provide general accounting support to help ensure a smooth transition during the assignment.
