Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Bookkeeper in Clawson, Michigan. This temporary, onsite assignment spans approximately 3–4 weeks with a flexible schedule of 20–25 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on bookkeeping experience, proficiency with Sage Accounting, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a small team. Hours are Monday–Friday, with some flexibility around days.

Qualifications

• Hands-on bookkeeping experience is required.
• Sage Accounting experience required.
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities during a temporary leave.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions using Sage Accounting.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Review financial records for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and records.
• Provide general accounting support to help ensure a smooth transition during the assignment.
