Qualifications

• RRT NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Associate degree or certificate in Respiratory therapy is required.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for respiratory interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized medications, airway clearance techniques, and other therapies across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airways, including invasive and noninvasive ventilation as needed.
• Educate patients and families; act as a resource to care teams.
• Maintain and clean equipment; ensure readiness and infection-prevention standards.
