Job summary

Success Education Colleges seeks an Adjunct RN Simulation Instructor to oversee the nursing simulation lab and support student learning. You will manage high-, medium-, and low-fidelity simulations, align activities with course objectives, and collaborate with faculty to strengthen clinical reasoning.

The role reports to the Dean of Nursing and emphasizes safety, reflective practice, and ongoing improvement of lab experiences for diverse students in a professional allied health program.

Qualifications

• Current, active California RN license.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years nursing education experience within the last ten years.
• At least one year of direct patient care experience as an RN.
• Proficient with simulation and lab technologies.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain simulation and skills lab policies, procedures, and operations.
• Schedule and monitor lab usage and equipment sign-out and tracking.
• Coordinate daily lab operations for students and faculty.
• Prepare and demonstrate skills and simulation activities aligned with course objectives.
• Provide remediation for students needing extra skill development.
• Collaborate with faculty to design strategies for clinical competence.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and fully equipped lab environment.
