Job summary

Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Main Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit to deliver safe, compassionate nursing care. Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital. Schedule: 24hrs/week, 7am–7pm with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

The Staff Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, aiming for optimal outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation required.
• NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; BSN encouraged within five years for associate degree holders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care for all populations.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure safe, continuous, and compassionate care.
