Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care in a skilled nursing community under supervision and physician orders.
• Assess resident condition and monitor for changes; perform wound care and administer medications.
• Maintain accurate records: Nursing Progress Notes, Treatment Records, Assessments, Incident Reports, etc.
• Ensure resident care is consistent with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Supervise, teach, and evaluate nursing personnel per legal nursing practice definitions.
• Promote resident rights and person-centered care, involving residents and families.
