Job summary

Salemtowne in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct resident care under RN supervision and physician orders. You will monitor residents, administer medications, and educate residents and caregivers while ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to care plans.

You will supervise CNAs and allied staff within your neighborhood, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with physicians to report lab and assessment results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN educational program.
• LPN license in good standing with NC Board of Nursing.
• CPR certified or able to obtain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident nursing care and supervise Medication Aides, Medication Techs and CNAs.
• Act as supervisor in a modified primary care setting.
• Document evaluations, treatments and resident status accurately.
• Communicate with physicians about resident care and lab/diagnostic results.
• Ensure showers and ADL care are provided as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with resident rights and care plans.
• Participate in education sessions and quality/safety programs.
• Support Salemtowne’s culture and policies.
