Job summary

Salemtowne in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist in clinic operations and promote resident comfort by performing personal care and support services.

Responsibilities include observing residents, documenting care in the EHR, assisting with feeding and mobility, maintaining safety, and coordinating with the Nurse Supervisor. Requires NC CNA certification and CPR; high school diploma acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree from an accredited institution.
• North Carolina CNA Certification with no substantiated reports on the state registry.
• Certified in CPR by either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Proficient in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, professional, and efficient customer service to clients/residents and families.
• Provides personal care per care plan (bathing, feeding, ambulation, dressing, hygiene, etc.).
• Documents care delivered in the electronic health record for each resident or patient.
• Triage client/resident requests with Nurse Supervisor or Physician.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment following safety standards and HIPAA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
