Job summary

ComForCare in Omaha, NE is seeking an Administrator/Manager of Care Services to help lead daily operations and supervise agency caregivers. The role partners with the Agency Owner to plan, develop and direct services while ensuring compliance and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is a Nebraska-licensed Registered Nurse with supervisory experience in home health or related health programs, strong governance knowledge and a proactive approach to client admissions and marketing support.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Nebraska Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory or administrative experience in home health care.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent with at least 1 year in home health care supervision.
• Knowledge of state/federal/local regulatory requirements.
• Business management experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day to day operations of the Agency.
• Assist with job postings, interviews and training to ensure qualified personnel.
• Supervise, coordinate, evaluate and develop client care teams to ensure quality care and case management.
• Conduct competency assessments to ensure caregivers are qualified.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations governing home care services.
• Maintain liaison between Governing Body and Agency staff.
• Oversee and implement the Agency’s QA/QI program.
• Conduct client admissions.
• Participate in marketing opportunities when requested.
• Be available or ensure availability of a qualified alternate during all operating hours.
• Other related duties as assigned.
