ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota South and Bradenton is seeking a part-time Administrator to lead day-to-day agency operations and build the operational framework for a new home health agency in South Sarasota, FL. The role involves policy development, regulatory compliance, staffing oversight, and AHCA survey readiness.

The ideal candidate may be a licensed Florida RN or have health service administration experience with supervisory background in home care, bringing strong communication

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida RN in good standing or health services administration experience with supervisory/administrative background in home care or related health care.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities are essential for coordinating staff and operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the owner to run daily agency operations, including the annual operating and capital budgets.
• Develop, implement, and oversee agency policies; update as regulations change; communicate changes to staff.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and competency assessment; supervise and evaluate the care team with the Manager of Care Services.
• Be available during designated business hours and arrange qualified coverage for absences.
• Oversee the agency's QAPI program, data collection, and reporting.
• Assist with client admissions, referrals, case assignment, and coordination with payors and community resources.
• Serve as primary contact for AHCA surveys, inspections, and complaint responses.
• Support marketing, public relations, and discharge planning activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
