Job summary

Atlanta Technical College seeks a Revenue Accounting Technician (Part-Time) to support the Business Office with accurate financial records and compliance with state accounting policies. This position is located at ATC's Main campus just south of Downtown Atlanta, and is up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week.

Under direct supervision of the Accounting Director, the Revenue Accounting Technician will work closely with the Revenue Accountant and Fiscal Analyst, performing general ledger

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field OR an Associate’s degree in Accounting with two years of related accounting work experience.
• Two years of directly related accounting work experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Accounting and three or more years of professional accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• General ledger reconciliation and journal uploads into WorkDay (GA@Work).
• Balance and reconcile accounting records and related documents.
• Generate and assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Review and process revenue documents (invoices, receipts, grants, and bonds) for completeness and accuracy.
