Tecovas in New York, NY is seeking a part-time Team Lead to help develop a high-performing team and manage total store operations. You will support product flow and apply merchant and customer service skills to curate a premium in-store experience.

Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager with talent, succession planning, performance reviews, and maintaining stock, layout, and loss prevention standards to ensure a best-in-class customer journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Retail Management experience.
• Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Exceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of hiring and developing great talent.
• Coaching, counseling & conflict resolution experience.
• Utmost character, honesty, and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Supports the Store Manager in creating and maintaining a succession strategy.
• Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork to balance operational, visual and customer priorities.
• Administers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts touch-bases with direct reports.
• Cultivates an environment of genuine customer connection and acts as a brand ambassador.
• Delivers high-quality product services with attention to detail (branding, debossing, boot shining) for premium experience.
• understands OMNI Channel business and implements processes to service the customer.
