Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; read and interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas clean and organized to company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and follow safety policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
