Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role involves assisting with daily store activities and leading associates to maintain high standards of service.

You will help organize merchandise flows, support inventory processes and uphold safety and company policies while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and document store activities.
