Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate for Lincoln City, OR. You will visit local stores weekly to scan product barcodes using a mobile app, collect data, and support retailer sales insights.

Flexible hours and paid travel are offered, with eligibility for 401(k) matching. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and can stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must have tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores using a mobile app.
• Visit stores weekly for data collection across grocery, drug, and other retailers.
• Report quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Display scanning weekly for all store locations; schedule reviewed in interview.
• Complete required data collection across stores with consistency and accuracy.
