ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local retailers weekly and perform in-store data collection. The role involves scanning barcodes with a mobile app, handling up to 25 pounds, and occasionally doing extra project work, including travel-related tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and reach/sort products.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a downloaded app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Complete in-store scanning weekly, with potential for additional project work.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
