Job summary

ScanScape in Thomasville, NC is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit designated stores weekly, scan product barcodes with a mobile app, and help improve sales performance for the product and retailer.

The role is permanent, on-site, and offers flexible hours with 6.5–14 hours per week on average, plus potential extra hours for special projects. Compensation is hourly with travel paid at the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Collect data to help improve product and retailer sales performance.
• Complete in-store scanning across the whole store and meet weekly deadlines.
• Participate in additional projects that may add 1–2 hours per week.
• Maintain dependable scheduling across 52 weeks per year, including holidays.
