Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly, scan barcodes, and collect data to improve product performance. The role offers flexible hours, ongoing store visits, and consistent weekly tasks across assigned locations.

You will scan barcodes via a mobile app, complete store-wide scanning, and participate in occasional custom projects that extend workload during peak periods.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy and have a high school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in assigned local retailers each week using a mobile app.
• Complete display scanning across the whole store on a weekly basis.
• Assist with Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours during busy weeks.
• Report to stores within described deadlines and maintain data quality.
• Work with major brand retailers and maintain schedule flexibility.
