ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores in Colonial Heights, VA 23834, scanning barcodes on displays and aisle locations to collect data that improves product performance for retailers.

The role uses a downloadable mobile app, offers weekly hours starting around 5–11 hours across stores, with 1–2 additional hours per week for special projects. Flexible scheduling and independence are emphasized.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across locations in each store.
• Provide quantity for around 45% of scanned products.
• Perform in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
• Meet weekly deadlines for client data deliveries.
