ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Winchester, VA. You will visit local retailers weekly, using a mobile app to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles. The role involves data collection, some travel, and flexible hours while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

You’ll work largely independently, with responsibilities including displaying scans, meeting weekly targets, and supporting client reporting. A valid license and reliable Wi‑Fi are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with adequate auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and reaching up to 6 feet high.
• Able to perform repetitive motions and work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit local retailers weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Complete weekly scanning and display coverage across the store, with occasional additional project work.
• Provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines to ensure timely data delivery to clients.
