Job summary

Steve Madden Ltd. is seeking a part-time Sales Supervisor to support the management team and lead the sales floor in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

You will drive sales, train staff, and ensure top-tier customer service while coordinating with leadership and corporate stakeholders. The role requires 2-3 years of retail experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent team-building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Ensure customer service initiatives address issues quickly and courteously.
• Act as liaison between customers, sales associates, and store management.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team, management, and corporate stakeholders.
• Assist in store operations including floor moves, merchandising, and inventory-related tasks.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside of the specified role.
