Job summary

Acima is seeking a part-time Sales Manager in Atlanta to lead activities at an assigned retail partner store. You will maximize store revenue by directing daily operations, training coworkers, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, sales achievement, and process improvement, with a compensation range of $17.49 to $21.21 per hour. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven track record of success in retail sales management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
• Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus.
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent in-person attendance to lead and manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the work of all store coworkers on a day-to-day basis.
• Motivate, evaluate, coach, and counsel coworkers including holding them accountable for duties and policies.
• Nurture, identify, and promote coworkers to Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager roles.
• Establish partnerships with store personnel to generate referrals and educate them on the rental and lease process.
• Train, supervise, and assess coworkers’ dedication to exceptional customer service.
• Utilize discretion and judgement in day-to-day management duties for store personnel, sales, and customers.
• Enhance coworkers’ sales and account management skills through ongoing training.
• Address and resolve coworker and customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Cultivate a positive work environment to reduce turnover.
• Recruit, interview, and hire coworkers for the store.
• Establish and track daily and weekly sales objectives.
• Supervise and guide coworkers in sales activities.
• Facilitate the conversion of rental and lease agreements with customers and oversee outcomes.
• Address challenging accounts requiring managerial intervention.
• Authorize customer commitments.
• Supervise coworkers in day-to-day completion of duties.
• Explain leasing options and payment terms to customers.
