Job summary

The Michaels Companies Fort Oglethorpe store currently seeks a part-time Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing team. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, coach associates, and ensure adherence to SOPs while managing front-end operations and key store programs.

Responsibilities include promoting loyalty initiatives, supervising POS usage, and coordinating birthday party events and other in-store programs to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong focus on customer experience and sales metrics.
• Ability to coach and develop front-line teams across departments.
• Experience with POS and self-checkout operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Promote loyalty programs and protection plans to drive retention.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Oversee events and specialty departments (Balloon/Knits & Sew) and framing where applicable.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
