Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide friendly, fast, accurate, and safe customer service while supporting daily store operations. This role assists shoppers on the sales floor, operates cash registers, accepts donations, processes merchandise, and supports production and merchandising activities.

The position is cross-trained in multiple areas and requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of basic math skills and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers and maintaining checkout efficiency.
• Operate the cash register and process sales transactions.
• Accept donations and provide receipts to donors.
• Merchandise floors and maintain safe aisles and organized displays.
• Support production, merchandising, and backroom operations as needed.
