Job summary

Goodwill South Florida in Miami, FL is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support customer service, cashiering, and merchandise processing in a busy store. You will help with donations intake, pricing, stocking, and maintaining a clean sales floor while delivering friendly service to shoppers.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
• 6 months of related experience or training is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus. Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload donated items, enter donor info into a device, and thank donors.
• Process: sort, hang clothing and household items; test, clean, and tag small appliances and merchandise.
• Cashiering: conduct sales transactions and manage cash/credit card procedures.
• Cleaning: maintain bathrooms, floors, shelves, and store fixtures; report maintenance needs.
• Customer service: assist customers, price merchandise, and explain store operations to help drive sales.
• Flexible schedule: include nights and weekends.
