Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Houston, TX. You will partner with the Store Manager to run daily store operations, supervise staff, and foster a positive, customer‑centric environment that drives store performance.

This position pays an hourly wage of $13.00–$17.00, plus commission up to 8% of gross profit and a performance bonus. Benefits include healthcare, Earned Wage Access, 401(k), tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 annually, employee discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising others is preferred.
• Able to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Cash handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing issues.
• Monitor and assist in training staff to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent and contribute to staff development.
• Open and close the store, manage cash drawers, and protect assets.
• Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes to ensure value and compliance.
